We live in a time of great paradigm changes in humanity. For us women, a time to stand as we are, vulnerable and powerful at the same time, allowing the deep knowing in us to be the guiding force in our lives.
Waking Woman is a tapestry made with threads of many colors. We each contribute to the beauty of life with our very personal weaving.
A Gathering of Women
Waking Woman is a container of time and space where women of different ages, cultures and nationalities come together for one week, to dive into an exploration of our fundamental nature; a place within us that knows that all our resources for our healing, our happiness and freedom are within us.
Our Time Together
We design our time together with the many things that bring us joy. Like dancing, singing, being in silence with a tree, poetry, storytelling, sauna/sweat lodge, walking in nature, and much more, but the main thread that weaves this journey is based on listening. Listening to the many possibilities and invitations of the place that holds us, listening to the unique alchemy that exists through the presence of each woman.
This space invites us to become aware and strip ourselves of layers that don’t serve our lives, and to playfully explore deeper spaces in us. We motivate and support each other to inhabit these spaces, where we have access to our power, creativity, intuition, subtlety, and our infinite resources to navigate life in a million ways.
In this way our nurturing nature becomes so abundant.

Mahai Retreat has 130 meters of private ocean front . We will be be in a little cocoon with our group of women, the ocean, the swimming pool, beautiful food in a luxurious private ocean front retreat and journey into ourselves with no distractions from the far-away world.

Mahai is located in Mahahual, Quintana Roo, Mexico.
There are two international airports, Tulum (TQM) and Cancun (CUN) thatservice Quintana Roo. There is also a domestic airport in Chetumal. We will help arrange transport with you after you have registered for the retreat.
